The Beauty of Spring

Last Fall I tried my hand at planting tulip bulbs. I found a good spot and dug a hole. That's about the extent of my gardening knowledge. Through the bitter winter they lay dormant waiting for the perfect time to sprout. The other week I noticed them peeking through the ground and today they were in full bloom. They are gorgeous. It brought such a smile to my face I wanted to pass it along. Hubby and I also bought some fresh bird seed and as you can see, they have had a feast! Oh, how I love the beauty of Spring!

For the beauty of the earth
For the glory of the skies
For the love which from our birth
Over and around us lies
Lord of all, to thee we raise
This our hymn of greatful praise!

So pretty! I love all the bright colors of spring. It sure makes up for a dreary winter!

J. got us one of those beds where you grow your seeds. We'll see how that works

Absolutely beautiful. Photography may not be your only talent. Think of the backdrops you could have in your own yard! Hello's to your hubby.
